Gridless · Readiness Score RQ™
Most people find out they weren't ready at the worst possible moment. Gridless turns how prepared you actually are into one number from 0 to 1000 — then gives you two minutes a day to move it.
Free to download · Your RQ™ is free forever
Anyone can tap a box that says "I have a first aid kit." Gridless makes you prove it.
The number
Your RQ™ is built from four pillars worth 250 points each. It moves the day you act and it decays the days you don't — because readiness you had two years ago isn't readiness.

What you actually know how to do, tested by daily drills.

Scored off what's really in your inventory, not what you meant to buy.

Water, food, power and the meet-up plan, sized to your household.

Showing up. The part almost everybody skips.
The daily loop
The check-in is the whole system. It's the part that moves the needle, and it's over before your coffee cools.
A drill, a real-world task, a quick status check, and one rotating card — water, gear, a skill, a scenario. Never the same four days running.
Nothing here is graded on knowing the answer. It's graded on doing the thing. Say you don't have it and the app builds you a plan to get it.
Points land the second you finish. You'll see exactly which pillar went up and by how much.
Proof, not promises
Water storage, a real go-bag, a family meet-up plan, a power outage run-through. Each one is guided, step by step — and the last step is always a photo.
Over a hundred of them across four worlds, from a fifteen-minute job to a weekend build.
That photo is the proof, and it's yours — it never leaves your account.
A verified mission sets a permanent minimum on your score. That part can never decay away.
Ready together
Bring in up to six people — partner, kids, parents, the friend with the truck. Everyone keeps their own RQ™, and you see the whole roster at a glance.
One tap sends a reminder to whoever's been coasting. It works embarrassingly well.
The Mission Wall is every photo-verified mission from every member, in one feed. Claim one, post the proof, watch the household score climb.
Know-how on demand
Everything you'd want to look up at the exact moment there's no signal to look it up with. Water, shelter, fire, first aid, navigation, food, security — written to be read at 2am with cold hands.
One button pulls all of it onto your phone, about 60–90MB. After that it works with no signal at all.
AI scanners identify plants, tracks, bugs and snakes in seconds. Useful on a trail, essential with kids.
Bookmark any article into the short list you'd actually want in an emergency — one tap from the manual.
The long game
The check-in handles today. Your Plan is where the rest gets built.
Log your gear, food and water once. The app tracks expiry dates and tells you what's about to lapse before it does.
Calculators sized to your actual household — how much water, how much food, how long your power lasts.
Self-paced programs that take you from nothing to genuinely prepared, a few steps a week.
What it costs
Your score, every emergency protocol and the SOS beacon are free forever. Premium is the part that changes the number.

Questions
No. Gridless starts wherever you are — a camper who wants to be sharper in the backcountry scores the same way as someone building a household plan. Pick the world that matches your life and the missions come to you.
Four pillars — Skills, Gear, Plan and Practice — worth 250 points each, for 1000 total. Every point comes from something you did: a drill you passed, gear you logged, a plan you built, a mission you photographed. Nothing moves your score without a receipt.
Because readiness is perishable. Skip enough days and points oxidize — they're recoverable, but they don't just sit there. The exception is the floor set by verified proof missions. That part is permanent.
Yes. One button in Settings downloads the entire field manual — roughly 60 to 90MB — onto your phone. After that it reads fine with no service, which is rather the point.
They stay in your account. They're proof for your own score and, if you choose to post one, for your clan's Mission Wall. Nothing is public and nothing is sold.
Sign up with the same email you ordered with, then scroll to the bottom of the paywall and tap "Hawk Nest customer? Redeem your year". Enter that email and the twelve months unlock immediately. If it doesn't take, email support@hawknesthammocks.ca and we'll sort it.
